The Tensio entry sheet: 128 systolic, 82 diastolic, pulse 71, today at 20:50 in the evening, above a keypad with large keys.

History

Your values at a glance.

Each day as a clear bar, systolic at the top, diastolic at the bottom. Seven days, 30, 90 or everything, with separate averages for the morning and the evening.

The ESC/ESH reference table is there for orientation. Tensio writes a reading down, it does not judge it. That conversation belongs with your doctor.

The History screen for seven days: a bar per morning and evening, and averages of 128/84 in the morning and 119/78 in the evening.
The Report screen: choose the last two weeks, the last month, three months or a custom period, then create the PDF.

Report

A PDF for the practice.

An A4 record with a summary, a chart and a table of every reading. Black and white, ready to print, even for two years of data. Your name and date of birth go on it only if you add them.

And the rest

Made to be easy.

Large type, large keys, and nothing you have to set up before your first reading.

Your readings stay on your phone.

  • No account and no sign-up.
  • No cloud. The diary is stored on your iPhone.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
  • Health data from Apple Health never leaves your device.

Questions

Good to know.

Is Tensio free?

Yes, everything in the app is free, with no ads and no subscription. If a paid part is ever added, it will be a one-time purchase, never a subscription.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app and enter your first reading. There is nothing to sign up for.

Which blood pressure monitor do I need?

Any. You type in the values from its display. If your monitor's own app saves readings to Apple Health, Tensio can import them from there.

Does Tensio assess my readings?

No. It records them and shows averages. The ESC/ESH table in the app is a reference for orientation, not a substitute for medical assessment. Talk to your doctor about what your values mean for you.

How do I move my diary to a new phone?

Save a backup file from the settings, keep it wherever you like, and restore it on the new phone. More on the support page.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Tensio starts on the iPhone, and Android follows.

Which languages does it speak?

English and German. The app follows the language of your phone.
